SHSAT Math & Logic An intensive test prep course providing adequate preparation for students to score high on the SHSAT Math and Logical Reasoning sections. 08/13 or 08/14 10 3 hours $600
SAT Math An intensive test prep course providing adequate preparation for students to score high on the of the SAT math section. 09/10 or 09/11; 10/15 or 10/16 5 3 hours $300

Instructor

These classes are taught by instructor William Chau, who is able to score perfectly on SHSAT Math and Logical Reasoning, SAT Math, SAT Subject Tests in Math Levels 1 & 2, and GRE Quantitative Reasoning.

William has many years of tutoring experiences ranging from middle school to college levels. He received a master's degree in Mathematics (from Courant Institute at New York University), another master's degree in Computer Science (from Stevens Institute of Technology), and three bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering (from SUNY at Buffalo).

William was the math team captain of his high school back in his school days. Some of the honors he received during his college and high school times include:

  • top participant of the William Lowell Putnam Undergraduate Mathematical Competition (jointly USA & Canada)
  • first place in the New York City Interscholastic Mathematics League Competition Senior B Division
  • winner of the Wisconsin Mathematical, Engineering and Science Talent Search
  • Besides teaching in his tutoring school in the weekend, William works full time as an independent software contractor for clients in New York City, and studies for Operations Research in a graduate program at Columbia University.
