William has made a tremendous difference in my son's life! William uses a fantastic curriculum that challenges kids and makes them love math at the same time. My son is very passionate about mathematics and William was the ONLY person we were able to find in NYC who was willing to find the appropriate approach for an 7 year old. We have taken 3 years worth of courses so far. William focuses on skills and teaches problem solving methods so that kids can succeed in the future. It's not just about getting the right answer. After 3 years, my son has improved dramatically! Thanks to William and his individualized approach, my son will be taking pre-Calculus in 5th Grade! He has also placed nationally for the past 3 years in the Kangaroo Math Competition.

In addition, I have recommended William to friends and several have enrolled their kids. Even kids who did not like math started to enjoy it after seeing William!!! Fundamentals 3 & 5, Junior Math Olympiad A, 2017-2020

I first had Mr. William tutored me in Algebra when he opened Computing Wisdom. It was a really challenging course, however, it made my math work from school looks really easy. When it was time for SHSAT, I went to Mr. William for preparing for the math section. Not only did I score pretty well on the SHSAT, but I also got into my specialized high school of choice, Brooklyn Technical High School. In my 10th grade, I took Mr. William's Geometry Course. Not only did I learn a lot from this course, but it was also the favorite course I attended there. Schools would just make us memorize equations and theorems, however, Mr. William truly made us understand the proofs of each and every theorem that was taught in the Geometry Course. During the summer of 2019, I took Mr. William's SAT Math course along with a course from another tutoring place that provided tutoring for both math and ELA. From what I experienced, I learned more from Computing Wisdom than the other tutoring place. Because of Mr. William's help, I scored a 790 on the math section of the SAT. As well, I was introduced to Mr. William's competition course Junior Math Olympiad--which isn't taught by the New York school system--and the math competition Purple Comet Math Meet. With these exposures, my math knowledge expanded even more. I truly recommend Computing Wisdom to students who would want to learn more in the math field because you're guaranteed excellent test results and more math knowledge than you would get from regular schools.

Susanna has tutored our 3rd grade daughter (8-year old) for 1 year now and we could not be happier with the ongoing results.

Susanna is an extraordinary educator who takes the time to tailor an agenda to ensure our daughter fully masters the material before moving on to the next lesson; precisely what we were looking for in a math tutor.

In full transparency, the Beast Academy workbook is extremely challenging and would have impossible for us (both time and patience!) to teach our child ourselves since it requires a math professional to communicate the concepts properly and in the right academic setting.

Our 3rd grade daughter has already been introduced to introductory algebra, geometry, and even basic algorithms over the last 12 months under Susanna’s highly curated curriculum.

Another challenge for our daughter was ‘word problems’ containing multiple steps / concepts, which could be very frustrating for any student (at any age). Our daughter can now systemically attack the problem in a logical manner by showing her work step-by-step.

Susanna even taught Leela multiplication short-cuts and our 8-year old can now solve problems faster than her well-educated parents : ) For example, our daughter can multiply 73 x 8 or 85 x 85 in her head faster than my iPhone calculator!

Susanna is passionate, patient, and persistent and has developed a genuine connection with our quiet daughter; we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our daughter went from being a good student to top of her class in a matter of months and is now 2-3 years above grade level. Our very shy girl is exuding daily confidence in the classroom which is directly attributed to her Saturday morning classes with Susanna.

My wife & I were on the fence on adding yet another extracurricular activity (ie: reading tutor, chess, technology, tennis, swimming, etc) however we could not be happier in the investment and we have seen immediate returns.

William is one of the most challenging tutors I have ever had but it pays off in the long run. I was learning college level math that made the math in high school really easy. I took Algebra 2/Trig, SAT Math, Precalculus, and SAT Math 2. All of these courses set me up for success in school because of William’s encouragement. I grew confident in myself as a student and I wasn’t afraid to ask questions. When I didn’t understand a problem after William’s first explanation he was able to explain the problem again in a different way - a skill that some of my teachers lacked. In public school, there was only one way to explain a solution to a problem which made it hard for me to understand since I had so many questions. William made math very enjoyable because he took the time to explain why we have certain rules in math instead of just having me memorize rules. In his class, it was understanding math over memorizing math. I am really glad that I had a tutor like William.

Algebra 2/Trig, SAT Math, Precalculus, SAT Math Level 2, 2016-2018

Mr. William is one of the most professional tutors I have ever met. Before Computing Wisdom, I joined many tutoring centers throughout Manhattan. But they all lacked a sort of concept: Explaining to the students. Most tutoring centers will use the most traditional method to boost your scores, by drilling. However, if one doesn't understand the topic well enough, it is just a foolhardy journey. The course that I took was the Geometry course. Geometry taught at my school was just by memorizing theorems and postulates. But Mr. William actually took the time to prove said theorems to me making me understand the subject better. It is this sort of step that he takes that other tutors don't that actually makes a difference in our learning experiences. I would recommend this tutor to those out there in search for the best math learning experience.

Mr. William is a sophisticated math tutor, and I've been training with him for almost two years now. His classes have brought me through elementary school and placed me as one of the students with the highest math grades in my classes. Through his training, I had been accepted to NEST+m. He has also helped me get into Hunter College High School with his intense Hunter Test Prep. I have also been accepted to Trinity School, which I will attend next year. I am happy that Mr. William has been backing me up these years, and without him, I won't be who I am now.

We put our daughter for Computing Wisdom's SAT Math tutoring course to prepare for McNair's High School math admissions test. William was very resourceful when it came to studying for my SATs. How you study or prepare for a test really depends on the student taking it and he taught the sessions personalized to my needs. We covered all of the major topics that you are required to know. We then went through a collection of problems he made, which consisted of the hardest SAT math problems directly from the Collegeboard. These sessions were very targeted and helpful. Overall, you can make the sessions the way you want and focus on what you think you need to work on. William covers that material as well as how to take the SAT. This includes timing, how to score the most points, and how to tackle the harder questions. Recommended for anyone who wants to push their score to the next level in math.

William was so helpful when it came to my ninth grade year where I would be taking geometry. It was really important for me to get more advanced in math to help me manage my time through the year and the program definitely boosted my math skills in just a few weeks. His teaching style is perfect especially if based around a book because there are chapters that he assigns with homework to reinforce things learned in class. Now in ninth grade, geometry is much easier and comes more natural to me.

William has tutored me since I was in elementary school. He taught me challenging materials that I haven't learned in school, using a variety of shortcuts to solve problems. At times, the shortcuts and methods he used are not taught in school. Although the materials he taught me are challenging, it has helped me in school. By the time I learn the materials in school, I have already build a strong foundation on the materials, making it easier for me in school. William is very dedicated.
